Kathy Martin
Treasurer
Kathy Martin is a long-term resident of Innisfail and has lived in the area since 1984. Kathy worked in the Mental Health and Disability Employment industries for 16 years and before that worked in youth related services. Kathy has a long history of voluntary work including: 40 years of volunteering with the Innisfail & District Tennis Association, over 30 years as a volunteer on the Committee for Tennis Qld’s Far North Queensland Tennis Regional Assembly and guiding tennis development in Far North Queensland, 10 years of being a member of the FNQ Mental Health Alliance based in Cairns, 12 years of being a member of the Management Committee of Our Place Wellness Centre Innisfail and Kathy also volunteered at the Innisfail Netball Association for over 10 years. Kathy has served as a member of the Management Committee of CSCI since 2013.
Kathy holds a Bachelor of Community Welfare and a Certificate IV in Mental Health. Kathy is a keen tennis player and a keen Pickleball Player. Kathy has a solid sense of community engagement and social justice and is passionate about mental health.
