Jacqueline Szafran

President 

Jacqueline Szafran is an experienced strategic leader with skills in engagement, planning, project and systems management. Jacqui has sound knowledge of various aspects of organisational viability, including financial and human resource systems. 


Jacqui has worked in the local government sector for 30 years, as Coordinator of Family Day Care and a Domestic Violence Service, Social Planner, Manager of Community Development and Services, Special Projects Coordinator and Manager of Community Relations and Services with the Cassowary Coast Regional Council. 


Jacqui holds a Bachelor of Social Science, Diploma in Leadership and Management and a Diploma in Children's Services.  Jacqui is a local woman passionate about local issues and building local capacity. She has been a member of the CSCI Management Committee since 2001; over this time holding the positions of President, Vice President and Secretary.
